pack a portfolio aimed at the place you’re looking at. don’t put more than about a dozen of your BEST work in there. be sure to leave out things you don’t want to do, even if they look good. check to see if they like digital or flat better. good luck

I refuse to believe you don’t have industry experience already. Like. Everything I see on your blog is portfolio worthy material =_= But yea. Go to career services in your school and they’ll give you a list of companies or on campus recruiters.

check out companies you like and check their “jobs” page for any internships, then get ready to send out a lot of letters that will never get acknowledged

see if your school has any job/internship-finding help, for one! ALso you can check cragislist, and even if you know a place you’d specifically like to intern, you can check their website and see if they’re accepting interns at the time.
